Donating to the Starr King PTA provides funding for enrichment programs, resources, teachers, and so much more. Thank you for your support in making Starr King an amazing place for students, staff, and faculty!

PayPal Giving

Click through on the Donate button to give via Paypal Giving.  This is the fastest and most convenient way to make a donation to the PTA.

You can donate via credit card through our Facebook page [no fee].

Checks

Please send your donation checks in one of the following ways:

  • Enclose your check in a marked envelope and give it to Ms. Christina in the school office.

  • Return your check in a marked envelope to your homeroom teacher, or

  • Mail it to: Starr King PTA, 1215 Carolina St., San Francisco, CA 94107

Please include the name of your child, their classroom number and/or teacher in the notes field of your check. This information is necessary for PTA bookkeeping purposes.

Stock Donations

We welcome your donation of stock in a publicly traded company.  You will typically receive a tax advantage by donating long-term appreciated stock directly to us rather than selling it and donating the proceeds of the sale.  Why?

  • You may be able to claim a charitable deduction for the full market value of donated stock.

  • You may be able to avoid paying capital gains tax on its appreciation.

  • Please consult your tax professional for advice.

Corporate Matching Gift Programs

Many employers have programs through which they match charitable gifts made by their employees. Through corporate matching, your employer can multiply your gift to the Starr King PTA and make it go further. Check with your employer's Benefits Department to see if they offer gift matching.  Send an email if you have questions!

Donations to the Starr King PTA are fully tax-deductible. The Federal Tax EIN number for the Starr King PTA is 13-4317993.

Remember, the deadline for making charitable donations for the current tax year is December 31.
